Interpretations: Contrasting the Plagues against Egypt and the Tribulation Judgments

The following chart is a comparison between the plagues that God visited upon Egypt because of Pharaoh's refusal to let the people of Israel go, with the judgments that God will pour out upon the world for our rebellion against His Lordship. This table illustrates the patterns that God uses in His judgments as they grow in intensity, duration, and extent over time. It also shows the grace of God toward those who are His own, as they are separated from His judgments. This table is not an exhaustive list of all the judgments that will be visited upon the earth during the tribulation, but only the ones associated with the trumpet and bowl judgments. Hopefully, this will give pause to those who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ to seriously consider the path where there is life, and not judgment. The time is now to make that decision.
