TSCOC: Introduction

Welcome. This website provides a view across the pages of scripture that describe past and future events in preparation for the Lordís First and Second Advents. The First Advent was the time period of Jesus's earthly ministry, when He was crucified on the cross, died and buried, and then on the third day he rose from the dead in His eternal body.  The Second Advent equates to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ when He will establish His millennial reign over all of this worldís activities; this is the beginning of His eternal reign over the world. The amount of information that the Lord revealed through the law, prophets, and the Psalms is considerable, Luke 24:44-49. Both the old and new testaments of the Bible detail events leading up to and during both advents. The information presented in this website provides a careful examination of these scriptural passages, and show how events in the past, present, and those yet to occur demonstrate the sovereignty of the Lord Jesus Christ over all of manís activities. Just as the Lord was not taken but willing laid down His life on the cross to fulfill all that the Father commanded, John 10:14-18, 14:28-31, so it will be when He returns; all the activities in heaven and earth leading up to the Lordís return will be in accordance with the revealed will of the Father in heaven, Revelation 1:1 and who sets the times and the seasons, Acts 1:7.

This website is titled the ďSurvival Guide for Tribulation SaintsĒ in looking forward in time following the rapture of the church. Then there will be a sudden vacancy of the truth concerning the end times. Simultaneously there will be a sudden upsurge in deceptive reports and public releases on the sudden disappearance of tens of millions or more of people worldwide. There will be no report on the truth found in scripture that the followers of Jesus Christ who disappeared faithfully waited for the glorious appearing of the Lord, Titus 2:11-14. This event is called the rapture of the church. This is an abrupt flash of time in human history of Godly judgment when those who believed and followed after the Lord Jesus Christ are separated from those who do not. The followers of Christ are taken up to meet with Him in the clouds. Those left behind shared in no such expectation or understanding of scripture or belief in Christís wondrous work on the cross to redeem all mankind from the power of sin. This site is intended to provide information found in scripture to those left behind concerning the tribulation period that they will soon experience after the rapture. Those left behind will need to know what lies ahead as the world rapidly degenerates into lawlessness, immorality, and into the darkness of satanic worship, 2Thessalonians 2:7-10, Revelation 13:2-4. The Lord provides hope and the way of salvation to them who believe and call upon the Lord and sustains them during this most horrific time in all of human history, the seven years of tribulation, to maintain their witness for the Lord, Revelation 15:2-4.

This website is centered on Jesus Christ, as the King of kings and Lord of lords as shown throughout the Bible. It is a collection of web pages that provide a visual and textual rendering of the book of Revelation and other prophetic books in the Bible. The information contained in this site is drawn from the prophets Daniel and Ezekiel, which serves as a foundation for proper interpretation for all prophetic passages. This site also examines the prophecies concerning the Lord's first advent and the epistles of Apostle Paul to broaden the proper interpretation of scripture to appropriately describe the church age, the rapture of the church, the Lord's return, the establishment of His 1,000 year earthly reign, and the new heaven and earth as a result of God making all things new for the future eternity.

Within the 66 books of the Bible are passages of comfort and instruction to those who become Christians today, as well as after the rapture of the church. The entire time from the Lordís First Advent until His return to establish the first 1,000 years of His eternal reign on Earth is referred to as the end times or last days. The hope is that all who read about the great message contained in Revelation and the rest of scripture will be further encouraged in their walk with Christ, and to those who are not followers of Jesus, to help them reach the point where they will accept Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior.

The information contained in this website is not an exhaustive work on Revelation and the prophetic events that are yet to occur, but mostly an overview of many events that the Lord revealed to His prophets. There are other excellent works in print that provide in-depth studies on this subject; some of these works are referenced in this site. The time of the rapture immanent, so no one should delay in their decision to accept Christ in their lives, 1Timothy 4:8. Soon after the rapture, the tribulation period will occur, which Jesus said would be the worst time the world has ever known. So take the time now to study the scriptures, talk to friends or acquaintances that are solid Christians, and believe in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, 1Corinthians 15:1-8, and confess Him as the one to deliver you into eternal life, Romans 10:8-13.

He is coming soon; do not delay in your decision. The Apostle Paul encouraged Timothy to walk in a manner worthy of his calling and in preparation of the Lordís return, 1Timothy 6:10-16. The Lordís return is eminent, but it will be in Godís time. When He calls for His church, the total time it will take for the church to be taken up into the clouds with Christ is measured as the twinkle of the eye, 1Corinthians 15:51-53. For anyone who delays their decision to follow after the Lord Jesus Christ, there will not be enough time to have a right relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The rapture is not for those who refuse to make a commitment for Christ, but for those who have been patiently waiting and anxiously looking for His calling. They will be the ones who have prepared themselves and have acted wisely based on the word of God, which is revealed in the Bible. Do not wait, the decision time for you is now.
